Discover the hidden giant pine cone in True Skov

An ideal place to do yoga/ exercise outdoors, camp or simply enjoy being grounded and surrounded by forest trees, fresh air and privacy

In the middle of True Forest lies a shelter in the shape of a giant pine cone called 'Koglen'. This is a free-to-book accomodation for day/ night camping. Enjoy the soothing sounds of birds singing, calm wind whistling through the trees, and maybe gallops of deer in the distance.

A kind of place for you

If you prioritise privacy and quiet atmospheres to concentrate on your routines, you feel connection with the earth element, like to listen to nature sounds, feel the soil under your feet, smell the pines and feel warm by the firewood, and prefer a forest view, this place is perfect for you.

What you will find there

Inside the shelter there is space for up to 4 adults. For day events, the site can host 15 people. There is a country grill above the camp fire for you to cook your food and a shovel for the coal. Remember to bring your own wood, lights, food and water. This site is only accessible by foot or bike. The shelter is owned by Aarhus Municipality and is located in a state forest.

Benefits of outdoor yoga/ exercise:

+ Standing poses on grass and sand build secondary muscles in the feet, hips, knees, spine, and shoulders (Pirisi, 2009).
+ Proprioceptive skills are also enhanced, helping yogis develop body awareness and safety in poses (Heileman, 2014).
+ Outdoor breath work in fresh air has been shown to help one digest food more effectively, improve blood pressure and heart rate, as well as increase immunity, leading to a healthier you... (Terrapin Adventures, 2017).
+ Moreover, even just thinking about nature has been shown to relieve the brain of excess activation and calms the nervous system (Hansmann, Hug, & Seeland, 2007).

I like to be in a room where we breathe together,
